14k gold filled

Commonly referred to as gold filled, gold filled is a material consisting of a thick layer of real gold permanently fixed under pressure to a base of copper. Our 14k gold filled jewelry has 100 times more gold than gold plated jewelry. This technique provides our jewelry the look and feel of solid gold jewelry at a fraction of the price and avoiding the typical chipping of gold plated.

✓ If you don't wear them, store them in a dark, dry place, protected from the elements.

Frequents questions

Is your 14k gold filled jewelry hypoallergenic?

The gold layer on gold filled jewelry does not flake off. Therefore, the metal base is hardly exposed to the skin, which reduces the risk of allergies. Thus, a person who tolerates solid gold well can usually wear gold filled jewelry without having allergic reactions.

Can I wear Pease jewelry in the shower?

Yes, you can. However, you need to protect your jewelry from corrosive cleaning products (eg chlorine, bleach, disinfectant gel, lotions and perfume).

Is gold filled similar to gold plated?

No. Gold filled jewelry has 10 times more gold than gold plated jewelry. Because this layer is thicker, gold-filled jewelry lasts longer and resists wear better than gold-plated jewelry.

What is the difference between solid gold and gold filled?

Solid gold jewelry is made entirely of real gold, while our jewelry is made of a thick real gold envelope permanently fixed under pressure to a base of copper.
